These are a few studio pieces that will likely be in the "Featured Artists of the Light Chasers" Show at Palm Avenue Gallery of Fine Art in Sarasota November 3rd-10th. I've been enjoying the larger format, using my big brushes, and the cool comfort of my air conditioned studio lately, now that it's August in Florida!

The bright primary colored umbrellas attracted me to this scene at the Anna Maria Island Beach Cafe over on Holmes Beach. It was just an added bonus that all the while I was painting the air was filled with the smells of bacon and pancakes!
